DGS Events began in 2004 as D.Gagné Staffing, an event staffing agency founded by Daniel Gagné. Daniel started his career in the food, beverage and hospitality industry over 28 years ago including an incredible breadth of experience, having worked as a chef, a bartender, a server, a pastry chef, a hotel manager and a restaurant owner.
DGS Events Staffing Agency has provided professional hospitality staffing to the finest caterers, event planners, hotels, restaurants, event venues, institutions and private parties for the past 10 years.
He has been the proud owner of a pub restaurant in Quebec City for 15 years and has worked in the hospitality industry in major cities such as Montreal and Toronto. Daniel has also worked as a Catering Inspector and Supervisor for the airline industry in Canada and Europe. He is a professionally trained chef with a degree from Montreal’s Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec.
